Monica Zamfir, JD

Monica received her Juris Doctorate from the Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University, where she received honours in Criminal Trial Advocacy. During her legal studies, she also completed an exchange at the Bader Institute in England where she received a certificate in International Business Law. Prior to law school, Monica completed her undergraduate degree in Economics at York University, in Toronto, Ontario, where she graduated in the top ten percent of her class.

Monica has been involved in diverse community and volunteer work, such as volunteering at the Toronto Fringe Festival, rebuilding houses in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, and her involvement with the Association in Defense of the Wrongly Convicted (AIDWYC). Monica practices law in Toronto, Ontario, focusing on medical malpractice, health law, and general profession liability.
